nana lu and ALL the ”boys...” this was during one of our recent monsoon’s and sherman was VERY scared...poor guy. he slept in ryan’s room most of the night, i think he liked the lullabies that were playing in the room.

on july 1, we found out that our baby boy can laugh! i took rj in the bedroom to see his daddy who promptly began to kiss and nibble on his feet. apparently, rj’s feet are ticklish...all three of us were laughing! it was the most adorable sound ever...here’s a video of the event.

it was so special and so important for our son to meet
his great grandma. i enjoyed every minute of their interaction.
i just wished my grandpa was also there to meet him.

the johnson’s came all the way to westlake to meet rj...fun visit!


uncle david and auntie anita made another trip out to visit us
while we were in CA...we loved seeing them!




ryan even got to meet granny sylvia and brody.

the akemon’s hosted a bbq (sponsored by scott perry and his amazing ribs!!) at their home so we could see our friends
and have them meet rj, such fun!

rj’s first roadtrip...to CA!

we left for CA the friday before father’s day and all in all, ryan did very well on the ride. he had two meltdowns on the way going and only one on the way home. although we stopped a couple of times to let him stretch and change him, he was basically tired of being in his car seat for that long...who can blame him?

dennis’ first father’s day!

for father’s day, we were at my parent’s home for a delicious bbq...my mom made armenian hamburgers which were so tasty! my family was there along with dennis’ dad, stepmom and family. it was a gorgeous day so we spent most of it in my parent’s new and improved back yard.
