rj’s first thanksgiving

we spent thanksgiving in AZ with dennis’ family. we had a nice day and, of course, enjoyed all the great food! here are some pictures from the day...from start to finish!

rj is really enjoying his new high chair. one morning, after his meal, i left him in it so i could get some laundry started. initially, he was loud...playing and chatting to himself. after a while, he became very quiet...this is what i found! must be a VERY comfortable chair...like father, like son! :)

grandma dar’s birthday

dennis’ mom had a “big” birthday this year. we had a fun family dinner at auntie ilene and syd’s home. here are a few pictures from the event!

pumpkin patch and halloween

a few days before halloween, we went to the pumpkin patch in moorpark with my mom, dennis’ dad and step mom, dennis’ step-sister-in-law and cousin jagger...a good time was had by all!


and we ended up staying in CA for halloween...rj and i surprised my sister laura and her family (she thought we flew home the day before) and spent the day with my family in pasadena. we had a great time!

7 months old...and counting

OK, i’m SOOOOOOOOO behind on my blog, it’s not even funny. so i’m going to update it now so we can be ready for the fast-approaching holidays!

ryan has been enjoying his rice cereal and any and all fruits and vegetables that he’s been introduced to...although he’s not a huge fan of squash and green beans.

our little guy has also been enjoying the company of family and friends as well as some new friends he’s met through a mom’s club i recently joined. i’m enjoying it more than he is at the moment, there are some very nice women who provide me with a wealth of “mommy knowledge.”
